DERECO Business

I believe that this must be the DERECO business train visiting the Boston and Maine headquarters in Boston. Back to back Alco PA's hauled the train of business cars that is shown here at North Station. The bankrupt B&M corporation was looking into possible suitors. DERECO was a holding company that included the D&H and Erie-Lackawanna.

This is it!!!! This is the business train whose westbound leg I photographed in Ayer!!! Those photos are lying in a box somewhere in my bedroom, but they are in print form and not slides. And definitely not as sharp as your brilliant nighttime shot. It was raining when they went west, too
