No More Trains to Boston

The north and southbound Ambassador are ready to leave White River Junction for Montreal and New York respectively. F7A #4266 will do the honors for the southbound. There will be no train for Boston on the far right platform as this service had been discontinued for a while, and in a matter of days the Ambassador itself will have "the disappearin' railroad blues". I'll have to take Vermont Transit back to Boston.

I remember WRJ as a busy place especially when the trains arrived from New York and Boston and over the CN or CP from Montreal and passengers from or to the four routes out of here changed trains
