The Last Snow Train to North Conway

The "can-do" Boston and Maine has done its best to ensure the RRE Snow Train will make it through to its advertised destination and back by providing not one but two of its best freight engines GP-18 #1751 and GP-9 #1730 to assist the Budd RDC train. I did not know that this would be the last Snow Train and that the girl I brought with me on our first date would be my wife of 45 good years.

WOW!!! What a cherished memory. I’ll bet this is your favorite slide. Don’t you realize the fascinating tales you are spinning?? Do you realize how many other b&m fans want to hear them?? I’m one- and you already have me spellbound!! You are like a modern day Scheherazade!! Each slide spins the next tale and we can’t wait to see and hear the next one and the story behind it.......
