LB-2 #7 Main Street Medfield, MA..

Having crossed Main St., LB-2 is curving into a long straight away. Though the head end has crested the grade, speed will not pick up, nor will power be cut back, until a sufficient amount of train has done like wise. At the time Main St. carried the traffic of Rt. 27 as well as Rt.109. Though running well as a tonnage train, LB-2 was also running late. As a result, its passage became part of the morning drive for far more people than usual.
