Mechanicville, NY

BM 1229 SW-9 parked on the north lead at Mechanicville Hump working the lower end switcher assignment. This unit was regularly assigned to the Ashuelot Branch up to the end of B&M operation, thus reason for a snow plow pilot on "B" end. Also, when the B&M ordered "SW" units for branch line operation, they were equipped with large number boards for easy ID in timetable/train order territory.
