Excursion At Plainfield CT

This Railroad Enthusiasts trip ran Boston to Blackstone, Putnam, CT, Willimantic Manchester, Hartford, return via Valley line to Middletown, Airline to Cedar Hill Yard, New Haven, Providence, and back to Boston. We are in Plainfield CT as the train backs into the old Providence -Plainfield line so it could then head across the diamond for Willimantic and Hartford. The trip back to Boston was exhilarating with the RS-3 keeping up with traffic on the Shore Line. Scuttlebutt was that the engineer wanted to get back in time to see "Gunsmoke"!
