The UP Hauler

Rebuilt SD-7s lead a transfer run out of Taylor Yard, Glendale. The setting is the east bank of the L.A. River at 7th Street, before graffiti and with a less developed city scape. On reaching UP's East L.A. Yard, in Commerce, it will pickup a similar train of cars bound for the SP. At the time interchange was still done "downtown". UP had a Santa Fe Hauler and Santa Fe had an SP Hauler. That pattern was reversed each year.
