Backing out of the Station

VIA's station in Moncton, NB is on a short siding next to the CN main line. However, it only has a power switch at one end.

For a westbound train, the crew coming on duty will get the manual switch at the east end, but for an eastbound train, it's easier to back up onto the main line at the west switch. The Ocean has just done that, and the signal has gone to "high green", so they will soon be headed east again.
