On March 1, 2008, the Colorado Railroad Museum held a ceremony, honoring the legendary rail photographer. Governor Bill Ritter, declared the day to be " Richard Kindig Day ". My brother Bud, had the honor of shaking his hand. Mr. Kindig, passed away the following month on April 7th, 2008, at the age of 92..
