Not far away, the folks along the Mohawk trail are preparing for a busy Sunday of brilliant Fall colors. Here, as this westbound climbs toward the Hoosac Tunnel, it doesn't look like "brilliant" has much chance of reaching this corner of the Deerfield River valley.
