NH on the outer Cape

This photo and my next one are of poor technical quality -- they were taken long ago with a simple snapshot camera -- but I figure they may be of historical interest since they show a line abandoned in 1965, seen shortly before the end. Here New Haven local freight NX-20 has arrived at Orleans, MA, with two boxcars that will be set off on the freight house spur at right. The RS-3/RS-2 duo will then continue on to the sand pit at North Eastham with the hoppers and swap out empties for loads. Sand traffic was the main business on this line at the end.
