Acela 2003, operating as Amtrak Train 2171, heads west past Kingston Station in West Kingston, RI, during a break in Friday's rain, although the grey skies kept the light level marginal for Acela's at track speed of 150 mph thru here. This train passed just after 4:00 p.m.; within the next 90 minutes 2 more Acelas and 3 regionals would also pass or stop, as appropriate.
