"OK, where are we going to put our cars today?"

The P&W Switcher enters the Gardner interchange yard toting a few dozen freight cars (no racks and lots of empty NS gons used for steel hauling). Thanks to the morning's work of 287, the yard is largely empty but filling up given both 287 and 28N dropped loaded racks and ED-8 is leaving another 20-30 cars (many NS gons hauling steel loads) on main 2 as P&W arrives. The steel apparently goes to Gateway Terminal at Belle Dock, New Haven - seems to be a major business for P&W these days.
