Needham local

A pair of MBTA RDCs, one from the Boston & Maine and one from the New Haven, smoke it up as they buzz along the Needham branch headed outbound between Forest Hills and Roslindale. The unsignaled Needham line was the only ex-NH route where ex-B&M Budds could operate because cab signal gear was not required.

Visitor Comments about this Photo:

Ironically the lead Budd, #6155, had cab signalling for the Fitchburg Route on the B&M.
