The New Haven has been gone for three years and the paint on yet-unaltered Penn Central RDC 33 shows wear as it crosses the diamond in front of the 1883 station at Walpole, MA, on its way to Franklin. Notice the kids getting a ride in the cab -- that was not uncommon in those less formal days.
