Boston & Maine train BM-7 and eastbound counterpart NY-10 were B&M/Penn Central runthough trains operating between East Deerfield, MA, and DeWitt Yard at Syracuse, NY, using a mix of B&M and PC power. Conrail painters hadn't yet gotten to the U25B leading a B&M GP18 and GP9 on BM-7 as it gets underway out of East Deerfield with an enthusiastic crewman in the cab.
