Acela Train 2158 and Lots of Work Equipment in West Kingston

Amtrak Acela 2003, operating as train 2158, passes Kingston station and lots of work equipment. On the 'freight connector' track were the catenary car that made Kingston home this past winter, a tamper, a 5-unit ballast cleaner, and 2 other pieces of Plasser-American equipment I did not recognize. The lumber company siding is finally nearly clear; only a small flat car with catenary cable reels sits near the east end of the siding, but blocking access to Arnold Lumber's box car unloading platform. It looks as though Arnold could receive and unload a center-beam flat now. Track 3 still appears unused; the rust on the rails is barely disturbed.
