Amtrak Train 137 Approaching Kingston Station, RI

AMTK 645 (ACS-64) leads train 137 toward its stop at Kingston Station in RI. Note the undisturbed snow along track 3 on the far side of the train. In locations shaded from the sun for most of the day the track 3 rails still sported a snow cap, indicating no use of the new track during the several days since the previous light snowfall. I am not aware if that lack of use was due to the track not being ready or not being needed.
