Amtrak Train 137 Departing Kingston

Amtrak Train 137, with AMTK 668 at the head end of its consist, heads west away from its Kingston stop towards an interesting sky, 1/2 clear and 1/2 covered with some chilly-looking clouds. Above the station sign, just behind the train, is a better view of the jumper wire still grounding the track 3 feed wire. In the background is the catenary maintenance vehicle that has reportedly been working nights on the catenary around the 13 switch in Kingston interlocking at the east end of track 3 (Thanks to Dave Tetreault for this information), work which should eventually allow the removal of this jumper and the operation of trains on track 3.
