GMRC Train 550 at Barker's Crossing

Due to track work on the Vermont Rail System's Green Mountain Gateway, the regular six-day per week job, Train 263/264 did not run on May 16th 2017, however, a Maintenance of Way ballast train, operated as Train 549 between Rutland and Ludlow and perhaps as far as Cavendish laying ballast for the team of spreaders that trailed behind the train. The returning Train 550 to Rutland is seen shortly after crossing East Clarendon Road in North Clarendon, Vermont with Vermont Railway EMD GP38-3 #206 leading GATX Corporation EMD GP38-2 #2208, as the train approaches the southern limits of the multiple Rutland Yards.
