GMRC Train 263-27 at Ludlow

After making an impressive descent of five-hundred feet in only a few miles, Green Mountain Railroad Train 263-27's power, GATX EMD GP38-2 #2147 and Vermont Railway EMD SD70M-2 #431 rolls into Ludlow as the Engineer eases off the dynamic braking for the brief level section through the town. Though the steep part is over, the train still has another seven-hundred feet to descend to Riverside on the banks of the Connecticut River.
