Maybrook Line action

A westbound Maybrook Line freight climbs the hill at Stevenson, CT, behind a mix of four axle and six axle GEs. The lead unit, PC 2685, is the former New Haven 2525, the NH's last new diesel, now preserved by the Railroad Museum of New England. This was a healthy-looking train, but Penn Central had already diverted much traffic from this once-thriving New Haven gateway route in favor of the B&A.
