MEC 613 (SD40M-2) works a long cut out of the intermodal yard in Ayer, pulling forward almost to CP-Camp. Several of us present of Friday saw the middle of an earlier move by AY-1 and assumed 23K was going to get out early in the afternoon. No such luck; eventually AY-1 reappeared and removed that hope. At least we caught an EMD loco still active. AY-1 later switched a cut of water containers; my guess is this move cleared a track for the water.
