TIN BRIDGE - PAWTUCKET, RI

The New Haven\'s line from Boston to Providence crossed the Blackstone River from Pawtucket to Central Falls over this plate girder bridge known as the "Tin Bridge" because the early covered truss spans were partly protected from sparks by metal sheets. I shot this mediocre obstructed view because I wanted a broad look at the bridge from the Pawtucket side of the river. The rear of the Boston-bound train is at Boston Switch.
