Independence Day

Following a ribbon-cutting ceremony, dignitaries including P&W president Robert Eder gave short speeches from the running board of RS3 161. Eder, who remained a P&W executive until the railroad was sold in 2016, was a primary force behind the startup and the 161 had been named in his honor.
