When CSX in Framingham was a toddlerThe day after Christmas 2002, three years after Conrail was split up and the B&A was ceded to CSX, a GP40-2 sat on the west wye track at Framingham while an eclectic power set of ex-Con C40-8W leading four leasers with three different reporting marks (FURX, HLCX, and GCFX) and three color schemes was assembling its train of empty auto racks at Nevins Yard. A bit later after the sun had sunk below the horizon, the westbound rack train (Q283?) speeds through the Ashland T station.
