Shadow side ...Covered hoppers emptied of their fracking sand at the Horseheads Industrial Center on their way to the Elmira yard. This section of the Erie also saw the Pennsylvania RR Elmira branch traffic run from Elmira to Horseheads. The industrial center is on a short remnant of the Elmira branch. Notice the old communication lines still in use.
