Andover, MA - Cemetery crossing - This is not a locomotive race. MBTA Engine 1075 is pushing train 216 toward Boston (West by the old BM Timetable). Pan Am engine 345 is running light toward Lawrence (timetable East). The snow looks fresh having been replenished by a few inches last night. This shot would not have been possible last winter, the double track has only been in service a few months. Both trains approached this quiet zone crossing at speed.
