GE 60 Ton Off Center Cab Locomotive

There were 9 each of the 45 ton and 60 ton off center cab GEs, all built for various arms of the military or war production facilities during 1941-42. All were powered by Cooper-Bessemer engines, 6 cyl. in the 45 ton and 8 cyl. in the 60 ton. As far as known this is the only 60 ton model still in existence. Last used by American Steel Foundries Alliance, OH Works. Plans are to restore No.5 to operation, however due to its rarity may not operate very often.
