Old car

This car has an interesting story. Built in the 1860's for the D&H, when it was retired it was removed from the rails and placed on a piece of property in Maryland, New York, not far from the CACV where it became someone's home. It was slated for demolition until volunteers from the railroad came along and rescued it and moved it to the railroad's property with the hopes of restoring it, sadly, that project is quite far down on the priority list.
