For my drive home from an appointment in Saratoga Springs, I decided to shoot down route 9 to Mechanicville and started working my way east following the B&M. Mechanicville yard was empty and all signals were dark; it wasn't looking too good. Then, cresting the hill by the Hunt Road crossing in Buskirk, my luck ( and my car, very quickly I might add) turned around! A weather-beaten Guilford 347 leads a pair of 600 series SD40-2s into Johnsonville,NY on manifest EDRJ.
