VTR B&R action -- Monday March 07, 2016An interesting Monday afternoon at North Bennington -- in the distance you can see the ex-FEC 432 just south of the north wye switch and out of sight beyond that unit is the GATX 2208 tucked into the passing track. After trial and error undertaken by the train crew to narrow down a balky circuit breaker on the 432, they determined that the 2208 was the cause for the problems. Hence the pending "re-arrangement" of the power as the 311 gets clearance from the arriving AD-1 PanAm Southern job in order to transit the wye and become the leader for the return trip back north to Rutland. The yellow six-axle unit's restriction prohibiting its ability to traverse the north leg of the wye necessitated the unusual shuffle of all three units, and the 2208 ended up trailing and isolated for the trip north, with the two remaining powered units lugging 56 cars.
