VTR B&R action -- Sunday February 28, 2016

In a rare Sunday move, the B&R turn made a southbound jaunt with 37 cars under the control of six engines (three on line). The intent was to grab 85 cars (mostly loads) waiting at Hoosick Junction, but after two attempts to climb the steep grade from the PanAm Southern main line, only 55 could make it north after cutting the train. The six units are seen on the Paran Causeway in North Bennington Vt. just after dropping their outbound string of thirty-seven, when thoughts of impending problems are still a couple of hours away.
