Heading slowly downgrade into the setting sun and about to re-enter the mainline at Hoosick Junction, the unit slurry train outbound from North Bennington Vt. wends its way westward during its short trip through New York State. A unique trio for the branch showcases the new arrivals to the power pool of PanAm Southern : 3401-3404-3403 -- more than a match for the heavy loaded train behind.
