PanAm Southern AD-1 -- Wednesday February 17, 2016

Having cancelled the last two trips into North Bennington Vt. since the beginning of the week, PanAm Southern's AD-1 is paying the price with multiple switching moves in the crowded and overpacked yard. 3402-379-504 are the beefed up trio attempting to hash out the different sets of cars so that a block of 58 can return to the Junction for ultimate forwarding by mainline train EDRJ to CSX in Rotterdam. The 39 inbound cars for the VTR are cooling their heels back at the Junction because of the congestion, and due to the extended switching and late hour the VTR will be forced to run back north once again "light power." Today's B&R engines (2334-207-311-2684) are scheduled for use overnight out of Rutland and must be headed "compass north" no later than nightfall to make the turnaround.
