Conway Scenic's 47 puts on a show as it accelerates out of Conway. Originally built as Grand Trunk Railway #1795 in 1921 at the Point St. Charles Shops in Montreal, Quebec Canada, it soon became Canadian National Railway #7470, Class 0-18-a. My grandfather, Angus Hadley Macdonald, was Chief Boiler Maker for CNR and worked at Point St. Charles Shops when he retired. I oftened wondered if he had a hand in the construction of this locomotive.
