VTR B&R action -- Tuesday January 12, 2016

Looking west across the headwaters of the Battenkill River in East Dorset, the southbound B&R manifest is led by the "Natch(o)z" GMTX 2147 and leasor 2334 with 19 cars. This afternoon's snow squall will prove to actually leave a measurable amount of snow to the delight of the skiers "schussing" on the neighboring mountains -- they have endured somewhat of a "barren" season so far. Maybe there are some gravestones in the distance marked "301-302-304-305-312."

Photographed by Cully, January 12, 2016.
Added to the photo archive by John (Cully) Cullinan, January 12, 2016.
Railroad: Vermont Railway.
