Sorely needed power showcases the newest addition to the VTR roster with a timely debut in service prior to Christmas.
Santa's "stocking stuffers" certainly are colorful, with or without the snow that has yet to come to the Vermont hills.
Newly arrived GMTX 318 and 326 pair up as a team assigned to switching duties in Rutland Vt. on Wednesday December 23. Later in the day they will push ten cars of crushed stone north of Center Rutland between Milepost 56 and 58 to add ballast to the recently installed welded rail.
