Today's instructions for the crew of southbound newly arrived "sisters" (ex FEC SD70-2M #431 and #432) on their first VTR assignment as a pair: "See if they'll play together nicely." Of which said (initial) experiment was successful. The two are pictured late on Thursday afternoon on the #1 track in North Bennington Vt. patiently awaiting a tardy RJ-1 interchange train that will arrive off the Hoosick Branch from PanAm Southern.
