Having dropped the interchange cars earlier in North Bennington, the eclectic set of VTR power is returning north with an empty hopper from Whitman's. The colorful foliage of the Battenkill Valley is framed by the distant hills -- Red Mountain and Pendock Hill south of Mount Equinox.
