MEC 614 in its unique maroon leads AD-1 on the first leg of its return trip from North Bennington Vt. with 306 and LTEX 8955 following with 45 cars. Today marks the first attempt to have the consist powered with an extra engine for the train of mostly loaded cars. They will creep downgrade into Hoosick Junction and await instructions to separate the westbounds from the consist.
