The Ultimate Scents

Along the Maine shoreline of Stockton Harbor for much of its remaining southbound run on August 31, 2015, Central Maine & Quebec's Searsport job could be seen from Cape Jellison while the very last of that morning fog mixes with the building haze. Not too many places around where you can smell salt water, diesel smoke and creosote all at once!

Photographed by Jeff Bray, August 31, 2015.
