Part of the railfan day activities included a photo freight featuring the CACV's D&H side dump car, built by Magor. The car was fully loaded and a spot was chosen where everyone on the train could get out and actually see the car dump 30 cubic yards of fill, another unique opportunity for photographers provided by the volunteers of the CACV.
