Batten Kill Rail Road -- Friday August 07, 2015

The 4116 heads north paralleling the Owlkill Brook at the mid-point between Eagle Bridge and Cambridge NY (three miles in either direction). Behind six-axle MOW flatcar #103 are nine loaded covered hoppers destined for delivery near Greenwich Junction. A good hay crop has kept the neighboring farmers busy all season.

Photographed by Cully, August 7, 2015.
Added to the photo archive by John (Cully) Cullinan, August 10, 2015.
Railroad: Battenkill.
