At the crossing next to the historic Battle of Bennington park, AD-1 with 506-305-313-505 drifts downgrade with 35 cars from the VTR connection as the returning train heads for Hoosick Junction. The end of the day has come in the fading twilight for both the crew and the magnificent orange day lilies that dot the adjoining hillside.
