PanAm Southern AD-1 -- Friday July 10, 2015

A four unit "mega-powered" AD-1 heads east out of Hoosick Junction NY with four engines and 18 empties for the VTR at North Bennington late Friday afternoon July 10th. 505-313-305-506 will return in a couple of hours with 35 cars after swapping consists with VTR's 310 and 303. The return trip back to East Deerfield will be delayed until tomorrow when the AD-1 consist will be combined into a massive eastbound nine-unit MOED. In moments the four units will cross the Walloomsac River in North Hoosick, and the picture is made possible by the generous help of a fellow railfan holding back a "cranky" pine bough.
