With the continuing bridge work north of Shushan, the Batten Kill chose another weekend day to run northbound from Eagle Bridge NY.. Saturday finds the ALCO RS-3 pair united once again as they consolidate the nine covered hoppers to take north late in the afternoon. And the bonus of the day was that everyone stayed dry -- the monsoons held off until after the end of the trip.
