The "Mt. Bachelor" Cascades TALGO set, running as Eugene-Seattle train #500, has overtaken a northbound unit oil train as both pass the former NP depot in Chehalis, Wash.

The simultaneous passage of two trains past the Chehalis defect detector triggered consecutive radio anouncements, the oil train with more than 400 axles, the TALGO with just 19.
