NYW&B - East Third Street Station
This view of the station is from S Fulton Ave above the NYW&B's former right-of-way. Four tracks went beneath the station building. The ramp down to the garages was added after the railroad closed. The garages are where the platforms where located. It isn't easy to imagine now, but older photos taken at this same location illustrate just how dramatic the changes have been. Mostly all traces of an electrified rail line that was as heavily built-up as Pennsy's NE Corridor are now for the most part gone!
