GMTX 9000 rounds the curve southbound next to the old Eagle Square plant in Shaftsbury Vt. on Friday January 30. The day long snowstorm will ultimately leave 11" of snow here as one small pocket of weather hovered on this part of Southern Vermont for the entire day. After dropping cars at North Bennington there will be a total of 90 awaiting pickup by PamAm Southern. The VTR crew will make a quick jaunt with the power down to Hoosick Junction to grab 25 cars set out there by a passing mainline train in an attempt to keep that portion of the traffic somewhat fluid.
